Nick Moore
Biography
Born in the Potteries in 1968, Nick has fond childhood memories of being surrounded by his father’s paintings and sketches with their ever-progressing style.
His own early sketches and paintings showed glimpses of better things to come. Decades of participating in sport meant postponing a full commitment to the arts.
Having studied printing and graphics at South Manchester College, Nick spent over 25 years as a printer and the last 15 years as a graphic designer.
In 2017 he picked up his brushes with a purpose and immersed himself in the study of art, with a focus on contemporary Northern Artists and attending exhibitions and private collections at home and abroad.
Currently inspired by regional artists, influenced by 20th and 21st century painters and striving for ever more efficient mark-making, Nick’s style is evolving year-by-year.
