Clifford Hirst

Biography

I was born in Stoke On Trent and attended a local school and Burslem School Of Art. I attended the Stoke On Trent Polytechnic for business studies and human resources. Most of my working life revolved working for a family-run pottery company in Burslem where I was employed as their Human Resources Manager covering a number of factories.

Until recently I was a member of the Oulton Watercolour Society but I now wish to pursue a new challenge with the SSA.

My inspiration for my paintings has been forged over many years from the Staffordshire Moorlands and the Peak District which I visit regularly.
