Biography
Eric England – Past President of The Society of Staffordshire Artists. Painter and print maker in residence at Leek School of Art 1961-1984. Eric founded England’s Art Gallery in 1967 which continues to this day. Eric was also a past President of the Leek Chamber of Trade and tutor and patron Civil Service Art Club for 28 years. Founding member of Leek’s twinning with the town of Este, near Padua in Italy since 2002. Among the many awards Eric has received including: Gold and Silver medalist at the Paris Salon- Gold Medal Art Guild Monte Carlo, Gold Medal Italia Del Arte and many more…
