Staffordshire with its art schools and colleges has a long history of producing talented artists, many of whom have had fine careers in either industry or education. The Society of Staffordshire Artists is proud to have had some of the finest of these join as Members of the Society and to uphold its high standards in producing fine quality art associated with this area.

Although I am proud of my ‘roots’ having been born in Burslem, the mother town of the ‘Potteries’, I am happy to paint the beautiful landscapes that can be found everywhere. I always strive to portray the natural beauty and colours in great detail, using oils, pastels, watercolours and inks, also drawings in pencil, charcoal and pen and wash.
